Big Gig in the Park
A secondary challenge was maintaining the “bowling-green” standard grass in the host park, which is so popular that authorities insist it remain open during the 6 day set-up and 2 day get-out and only close on the day of the event. Successfully managing all the health and safety risks and avoiding the hefty fines for damage to the park was iMAG’s sole responsibility.
The Successful Solution
iMAG provided a dedicated and driven Project Manager who acted as sole point of contact for the client, equipment suppliers and as artist liaison to avoid any blurred lines of responsibility.
We planned ahead and negotiated well to achieve an innovative and excellent quality production, on time and on budget – in spite of being on an island.
iMAG has been re-appointed for future Big Gig event, and caught the attention of the NatWest Island Games organisers who we have worked with since.
‘’iMAG Displays this year added a new level of professionalism to the Big Gig. They captured and delivered everything that I had imagined to an extremely high standard. They managed, delivered on time and on budget. Thank you iMAG for making The Big Gig a great success.’’ – Event organiser, Helping Jersey Charities Ltd.
