Charli creates, shapes, and delivers the IMAG client journey and quickly established iMAG’s renowned reputation for innovatively delivering ‘the vision’ which she has achieved through her unique and natural communication style.

Quick wit, creativity, technical knowledge (or knowing who to contact!) and her ability to build highly-effective relationships, has ensured IMAG phenomenal organic growth and fortifies iMAG’s position as a market leader.Charli started her career within the financial industry before moving to talent management solutions.

Charli found her true passion for the live events industry—she quickly recognised that her skills, passion and enthusiasm suited the environment perfectly. She soon met Alex Strachan, taking a leap of faith and helping him to found iMAG Displays, leveraging years of experience working alongside blue chip companies to create and shape the client service side of the business to meet her exacting standards.

Alex is the entrepreneurial talent behind iMAG Displays. He started his production career at just 15 and went on to found a commercial lighting company. He added an event lighting company to his portfolio and upped the ante by joining forces with a local LED screen business, where he became an expert in LED screen technology.

Over the years, Alex built a passionate team of industry experts who craved the opportunity to become market challengers. Learning from decades of combined experience, Alex and the team launched iMAG Displays and turned their passion into the award-winning business you see here.

When Alex isn’t making waves in the LED industry; he spends his rare free time jet skiing on the south coast and visiting his family and of course black labs Ellie & Maia on the beautiful Channel Islands.

Dan brings concepts to life by using creative building blocks and the very latest technology to design, direct and deliver the finished product. Cool under pressure, with expertise developed across a career delivering high-scale production scenarios, Dan problem solves and identifies unique solutions to ensure the technical brief is always met, both commercially and creatively.

Dan started his career in sound engineering, mixing for his local church. His next step extended his creative skillset into larger scale AV productions, working as Head of Video.

Dan also cultivated his extensive operational knowledge of lighting and rigging, whilst specialising in video production.

Dan really found his passion specialising in video control and complex signal distribution, which led to his next move to quickly advancing to the position of Head of Digital Media. He played a critical role in the delivery on some of the most challenging and innovative projection mapping projects,

When he’s not advancing our innovative technical capabilities, Dan’s priority and focus are his young, active family. They live in beautiful Cambridge. Active members of C3 Church, and with shared passion for adventures from camping to gorge walking, they can often be found travelling Europe exploring.

David started his early production career in audio. After gr aduating from university, he spent a number of years honing his expertise across the freelance production industry, whilst also running a successful AV company . He was then headhunted by a large company who was attracted by his client skills and relationship management.

During his time there, his expertise and industry knowledge rapidly grew as he focussed on sound, lighting and then video, before quickly moving up the ranks to becoming a key senior member of the technical team.

David quickly realised his passion and skill for video, projection and control, deciding to make the jump to QED productions ltd. There, along with future business partner Daniel Gray, he further refined his technical video skills, working across a prestigious client base, heavily involved in the delivery of a number of the of the UK and Europe’s most challenging and innovative projection mapping projects.

When not designing, managing and briefing crews and clients, David’s true passion is his young family! Recently married, they love to travel, have already been to Disneyland and even hope to visit Chernobyl!

Passionate about client delivery and client communication, Ali’s enthusiasm and knowledge of the event industry makes him a key part of the iMAG technical team. With Ali’s exposure to the technical production industry beginning as a freelancer, he quickly identified the LED & AV industry as a match to his outgoing and hard-working nature.

Ali can be found every single season on top of a mountain….. Shredding!

From festivals to touring; Kevin has over 18 years’ experience in challenging live technical environments. Kevin joined IMAG Displays right at the beginning and although originally based in Jersey, made the move to Dorset and to iMAG. Kevins focus and passion for all things technical made him a key addition to the iMAG team, honing and developing his expertise in LED video, control & production.

Kevin loves to travel with recent trips to Las Vegas and the Dominican Republic.

Helens extensive background at senior management level support, administration and sales positions her as a critical connection between our directors, operations team and freelance base.

Involved in all aspects of delivery, her positive and friendly manner makes her a welcome addition to our team. With a degree in marketing, she oversees the project planning, from logistics to crew booking. She works closely with our directors to ensure IMAGs onsite delivery remains seamless.

Helens lives close to the beach and most favourite thing is spending time with her beautiful daughter & husband and of course; Buxley & Oscar the family pet squad.

Matt is a calm and capable force in iMAG’s project delivery team, known for his structured mindset, technical knowledge, and attention to detail, especially in fast-paced, live environments.

He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Live Sound Technology from Solent University. While studying, he freelanced across a variety of live events, quickly building practical experience to complement his academic training. Since then, he has delivered an array of high-profile productions, from elegant corporate functions to multi-space exhibitions, earning a reputation for seamless, solutions-focused delivery.

Matt’s first experience with iMAG came as a client, and the positive impression stayed with him. When the opportunity came to join the team, he didn’t hesitate. 

Outside of work, Matt is a Scout leader and a passionate outdoorsman. You’ll find him in a kayak during summer or heading up a mountain in the colder months, constantly chasing the next adventure.

Rikki is our disguise and video control expert, with an in-depth knowledge of all things video and with an extensive background in all things tech. Rikki worked within a global organisation delivering large scale video workflows and content across a wide spectrum of live event scenarios, with an extremely professional and task orientated attitude, his friendly and warm manner ensures he is a client favourite.  With a degree in Broadcasting his skills and background provide a wealth of knowledge.

Based outside London and recently married, Rikki loves nothing more than spending quality time with his beautiful wife.

Louise is our finance manager and in-house numbers expert, providing high level financial expertise and planning. With a passion for all things financial, she provides the key skills to ensure the smooth running of the fast-paced financial aspects of iMAG.

With a stylish and professional manner, she provides forecasting and analysis for future cap ex spend and ensures the key iMAG financial objectives are achieved. With an extensive background in SME business growth, development and strategy, Louise provides support to the senior team, working in partnership to ensures iMAG’s continued growth.

Tom is our inhouse technical genius and warehouse knower of all! With a passion for all things LED, Processing and Control. Tom has worked with numerous global brands and ground-breaking events over an extensive career in the freelance industry spanning 15 years, he joined IMAG as part of our permanent team and hasn’t looked back. Tom oversees the maintenance, prep and planning of our kit with the highest level of attention to detail, when onsite his professional and warm manner makes him one of our client’s favourites! With achingly cool taste in music and clothing brands.

Tom lives locally with his partner and the other love of his life; the cutest little bojack called Annie. She loves long walks, our rack room and hanging out with her dad!

Stephen (pronounced Steffen) is an award-winning writer, director, and producer whose creative prowess knows no bounds. His illustrious career spans various mediums, from captivating films to engaging broadcasts and unforgettable live events in theatres and arenas. Starting as a musician, then moving into audio (Front of House engineer) then growing across all production disciplines into production management then finally into show design and producing events or projects. The main strength Stephen brings to every project is seeing the potential in everyone and drawing out their best all while leading through calmness in the storm and achieving creative problem-solving results as they arise. Seasoned by years of experience, Stephen is a true veteran in his field, bringing a wealth of knowledge and versatility to any project.

Based in London with his family and dog, Stephen, in his free time, is travelling, reading, writing, or making delicious food.

Henry brings a unique blend of creativity, composure, and technical precision to the iMAG team. With a musical background, including specialist training in bass guitar at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, he developed the discipline and performance instincts that now underpin his approach to technical production.

His journey into live events began at his local church, where he gained hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. That grounded, problem-solving mindset has shaped his work to this day.

In 2018, Henry became one of Graymatter’s original crew, playing a key role in its formative stages. After a period working at his church, he rejoined the team full-time in 2023, bringing with him calm confidence and a sharp eye for detail.

Driven by variety and challenge, Henry thrives when things get complex. Whether prepping intricate projects or solving challenges on site, he’s most at home when no two days look the same—and that’s precisely how he likes it.

Luke oversees the technical and sales division of IMAG, identifying and converting new clients alongside developing and supporting our existing client base. Luke possesses a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, built over his career as both Production Manager and Project lead, he connects both the client and supplier relationships with his engaging, professional, and calm manner. His extensive production & AV technical background ensures the clients relationship is both understood and supported throughout the process.

Luke enjoys spending time with his partner and on the water, making the most of the beautiful place we live!

As a former secondary and college-level maths teacher, Lara was drawn into the dynamic world of events. She worked on builds and de-rigs throughout the Southwest before discovering her exciting new home at IMAG!  

As the Warehouse Manager at IMAG, she oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly. This involves managing inventory, coordinating with on-site teams, and preparing kits for various events. It's a challenging role, but one that she finds incredibly rewarding.  

Originally from Newcastle, she cannot get enough of the beach and sunshine during summer, but she loves walking and exploring the beautiful Dorset throughout the year.

With an impressive career spanning over 40 years in the events industry, Robin has skilfully navigated his way from Technician to Producer, eventually rising to the position of Account Director. His extensive and varied experience equips him with a remarkable talent for transforming clients' visions into innovative and practical solutions. 

At iMAG, Robin plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's existing client portfolio, actively seeking opportunities to introduce their diverse services across a wide range of creative production areas, including television, concert touring, engaging activations, and dynamic live events. 

Outside of his professional endeavours, Robin is passionate about exploring new cultures through travel, savouring the delights of exquisite cuisine, immersing himself in captivating theatre performances, and wholeheartedly embracing all that life has to offer.

After a successful career in hairdressing and beauty, as well as raising four wonderful children, she decided to switch industries. This new path would bring both personal and professional challenges, including breaking into a male-dominated field to introduce a feminine touch. 

Katie plays a vital role in the business's operations, overseeing everything from preparing jobs to de-preparing projects. She also manages the inventory, meticulously tracking all the kits and their movements in and out of the warehouse. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, sipping gin, and reading.

Pete has over 25 years of experience in video technology, specialising in technical production for large-scale events. He is passionate about transforming creative visions into impactful experiences through his advanced technical skills and strong leadership. Notable projects include high-profile broadcasts such as *The X Factor*, as well as events like the *Game of Thrones* launch at the Tower of London and multiple Salesforce events.

Pete excels at building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, leading to successful outcomes. iMAG enables him to focus on collaborating with customers and technical teams to deliver exceptional video solutions while maintaining a personal approach in all interactions.
 

Beyond Pete’s technical expertise and project experience, he chose to join the iMAG team because of their shared professional values—everyone is client-focused and committed to investing in the best equipment and talent. While Pete has ambitious plans for iMAG’s growth, he and the rest of the team remain laser-focused on delivering top-tier video solutions and executing them exceptionally well.

Dan has a diverse background, having gained experience at Tesco and in garden centre warehouses. He joined IMAG to expand his skills and explore the exciting field of technical events.

As a warehouse operator at iMAG, Dan plays a crucial role in ensuring that all our projects run smoothly. He prepares equipment for events, maintains our inventory, and loads equipment for transport.

In his personal life, Dan has various passions. He enjoys playing and watching football, improving his golf skills, and gardening. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his young son and family.

Zara is our Marketing Manager, and the driving force behind our brand's voice. With a rich background spanning 15 years in marketing, comms, and PR, she's found her true passion in the exciting world of AV and live events for the past nine. 

She thrives on crafting impactful marketing and communications plans that drive key business objectives and elevate brand awareness. A creative storyteller at heart, she's passionate about weaving compelling narratives and crafting engaging copy. 

Zara is also a passionate advocate for inclusivity. She recently earned a Level 3 qualification in Diversity and Equality and is committed to championing women in the AV industry. 

Outside of work, Zara finds balance in spending time with her family in the countryside. She also enjoys exploring antique shops and thrift stores, uncovering hidden gems with a story to tell.

Chris is one of the friendly faces behind the scenes at iMAG HQ, making sure our kit is prepped, packed, and loaded to perfection. Since joining the team in 2024, he’s brought serious skill and calm focus to our fast-moving warehouse ops, especially when it comes to the ultimate Tetris challenge: truck loading. It’s where he shines.

Chris thrives on the logistical challenges the job throws his way. But it’s the team spirit at iMAG that makes it all worthwhile: working alongside great people to deliver extraordinary visual experiences.

Outside of work, Chris is most at home in the great outdoors, whether he’s pitching a tent for a weekend under the stars or exploring new trails with his kit bag and boots.
