Thursday 28th January 2016 saw a spectacular awards ceremony which pulled out all the stops for the gathering of the industry’s top Festival suppliers across the UK. iMAG Displays Ltd, newcomer LED screen hire and Event production company, took the spotlight when announced as Best Screen Supplier after demonstrating case examples and testimonials from its outdoor screen clients. Hosted at the Hurlingham Club in London, hundreds of Festival supplier professionals enjoyed a spectacular evening of fantastic food, entertainment and celebration of achievements. iMAG Displays, founded in 2013 by Alex Strachan after many years in the industry were amongst the glamorous tables and actually fortunate enough to be a finalist. Started out in Alex’s lounge with only his industry experience, contacts and a laptop to work with, iMAG Displays was created and every day since has been snowballing into success – with the ethos of staying current and not restricting itself with ageing equipment iMAG were able to demand the attention of some of the largest festivals across the UK and Europe. Alex: “To build the reputation iMAG have today, purely through client recommendations and doing good, moral business, is fulfilling, but to receive award recognition for that before our third birthday, is very humbling. We were recognised for our work at the Big Gig Jersey, which has been a large part of our success over the years. Our respect for upholding quality and innovation in this industry is second to none and we have been fortunate enough to make some great industry friends and partners along the way, who we celebrated the night and our first award win with. I cannot thank the judges enough and the FSA team for giving us this opportunity and throwing such a fantastic ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the Festival Industry. To win this title of the Best Screen Supplier has only added fuel to our passion to continue exceeding expectations in the LED screen hire business and stepping up onto a stage to receive the FSA award was a dream come true.
