KGM Actyon Launch Marketing Campaign

Bicester Heritage Centre

When KGM prepared to introduce its striking new Actyon coupe SUV to the world, the success of the launch marketing campaign was critical. Collaborating with the talented team at Visarc, iMAG was brought in to deliver the campaign’s visual centrepiece: a stunning LED backdrop that would powerfully showcase the car across television, cinema, social media, and KGM’s full digital and retail ecosystem.

The Challenge: Tough Conditions, Tight Timelines

The campaign was filmed in a historic aircraft hangar—a dramatic but technically challenging location. The near-freezing temperatures, vast space, and compressed production timeline created significant logistical and technical hurdles. The team needed an LED solution that could deliver flawless in-camera visuals under difficult conditions, ensuring no delays and no need for costly post-production corrections.

The Solution: Precision-Delivered LED Technology

We deployed our cutting-edge ROE Ruby LED screen, constructing an impressive 8-metre by 3-metre backdrop on-site. Renowned for its exceptional colour reproduction, clarity, and seamless integration with camera systems, the ROE Ruby panels were the perfect choice to showcase Visarc’s captivating AI-driven content. Despite the harsh environment, our expert team worked efficiently and precisely, ensuring every shot was captured on time and at the highest standard of quality.

The result was a visually stunning, multi-channel marketing campaign that successfully positioned the KGM Actyon as a bold, innovative vehicle in a crowded automotive market. The campaign rolled out across national television, cinema spots, social media, digital ads, manufacturer and dealer websites, and in-showroom materials.

You can have the best kit in the world, the slickest pitch deck, and a glittering showreel, but if you don’t understand what your clients really need when the pressure’s on, you’ll never be their first call again. After more than twelve years working across the creative, brand, and production landscape, the iMAG team has been in hundreds of briefing conversations. And while every project, client, and budget brings its own personality, one thing is consistent: there’s almost always more going on beneath the surface. Here’s what they rarely say out loud, but actually really want from their AV partner. 1. “Make me look good to my client.” Whether you’re working with a producer, a creative agency, or even an internal comms team, there's usually another layer above them. A brand director. A Head of Production. A CMO. What they want isn’t just technical brilliance (though that’s always a non-negotiable). They want you to make them look like the hero. That means calm in chaos, fast fixes, respectful collaboration, and no surprises on site. At iMAG, we get that. We operate like an extension of your team - invisible when needed, front-footed when it counts.
