Production Director says:

Just wanted to express my thanks for all of your hard work in both pre-production and on-site delivery. Excellent service all round, sending my personal thanks and gratitude on behalf of all here. Very much look forward to working with you all again soon.

How we created the set...

We were given a brief to provide a uniquely innovative deconstructed LED screen build, and to deliver the entire video production from custom led rigging right through to content delivery alongside our control brand Graymatter Video. IMAG Displays, was tasked with delivering the screen requirements, which included coordination of content for 35 awards and the multiple live performances.

Delivering a successful project...

The large-scale design involved multiple LED panels, staggered stage left and right in step fashion, which proved a big challenge requiring carefully balanced weight load and rigging from the roof. Work on the project began with design drawings, weight calculations and content maps. The concept phase took approximately a month of planning, followed by multiple site visits and production meetings. A lot of people said what we were attempting wasn't possible but, with the team assembled, we did it.

Equipment used:

  • 322 x ROE Diamond 2mm LED panels
  • 4 x Brompton Tesserra SX40 4K HDR
  • 8 x Brompton XD Receivers

You can have the best kit in the world, the slickest pitch deck, and a glittering showreel, but if you don’t understand what your clients really need when the pressure’s on, you’ll never be their first call again. After more than twelve years working across the creative, brand, and production landscape, the iMAG team has been in hundreds of briefing conversations. And while every project, client, and budget brings its own personality, one thing is consistent: there’s almost always more going on beneath the surface. Here’s what they rarely say out loud, but actually really want from their AV partner. 1. “Make me look good to my client.” Whether you’re working with a producer, a creative agency, or even an internal comms team, there's usually another layer above them. A brand director. A Head of Production. A CMO. What they want isn’t just technical brilliance (though that’s always a non-negotiable). They want you to make them look like the hero. That means calm in chaos, fast fixes, respectful collaboration, and no surprises on site. At iMAG, we get that. We operate like an extension of your team - invisible when needed, front-footed when it counts.
