Louise Saunders Promoted to Finance Director at iMAG

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news from iMAG HQ. Louise Saunders has been promoted to Finance Director.

Louise joined iMAG in October 2022 as our Financial Controller, and over the past three years, she has become an integral part of our leadership team. With her background in SME growth, development and strategy, Louise brings the right blend of commercial experience, foresight, and calm leadership that a fast-paced, project-led business like ours relies on. Her new appointment is a reflection not just of her skills and strategic mindset, but of her unwavering commitment to the business, our people, and our long-term goals.

In an industry where the spotlight often falls on the front-line teams delivering our demanding projects, it's easy to overlook the vital role that support functions within the business play. But behind every successful project, there’s an equally dedicated team working quietly in the background, keeping our business steady, scalable, and smart.

“Louise has strengthened our financial strategy and helped us make better, faster, and more confident decisions,” said Alex Strachan, Managing Director at iMAG. “She’s an incredibly valued member of the team, and this promotion recognises both her contribution and her leadership. We’re lucky to have her.”

As we continue to scale and take on more ambitious projects across the UK and internationally, Louise’s insight and leadership will be vital to maintaining our commercial sharpness and operational strength.

Congratulations, Louise! We’re delighted to have you in this role.

You can have the best kit in the world, the slickest pitch deck, and a glittering showreel, but if you don’t understand what your clients really need when the pressure’s on, you’ll never be their first call again. After more than twelve years working across the creative, brand, and production landscape, the iMAG team has been in hundreds of briefing conversations. And while every project, client, and budget brings its own personality, one thing is consistent: there’s almost always more going on beneath the surface. Here’s what they rarely say out loud, but actually really want from their AV partner. 1. “Make me look good to my client.” Whether you’re working with a producer, a creative agency, or even an internal comms team, there's usually another layer above them. A brand director. A Head of Production. A CMO. What they want isn’t just technical brilliance (though that’s always a non-negotiable). They want you to make them look like the hero. That means calm in chaos, fast fixes, respectful collaboration, and no surprises on site. At iMAG, we get that. We operate like an extension of your team - invisible when needed, front-footed when it counts.
